This site is not affiliated with Van Halen, its management, or record company. We can transition from country to rock in a matter of a few songs. Or so they try too at least. Check back later in the year and they will probably have the voting on line. I can't believe Yankee Rose didn't make that list! We have various ways for you to contact us and we will respond. When any hagar shit I don't like comes on, that's when I turn the station to the End107. If you don't like this one, check out other years, they change quite a bit.
Yah like Ford said, it's all hagared out up here in seattle. I will say however, that I'm pretty pissed about Bob Rivers and his crew leaving the station. Not sure why, since crappy hair bands like Poison did. The Radio Storm is not controled by professional software that tells us what to play and when to play it. Kicking back ain't kicking you.
Listening to The Storm is a bit like stepping back into time. Did they get rid of the original morning crew with Spike in it? This station is obviously a huge Sammy supporter. The top 1000 airs every year right around New Years, and usually the top 10 songs are all at least 30 years old and over 7 minutes long Stairway, FreeBird, Layla, Hey Jude, etc. That would be pimpin' I think. They still play a lot of Sammy's solo stuff and have had a couple contests to win trips to Cabo, etc. I forgot the other guys? Well, then I'll use the frown And the pissed off.
This format creates a station with the best variety of music on the internet. That would ne cool if they did something with the funkey monkey 104. . Yeah, in theory they're supposed to get to 1 at exactly midnight on New Years Eve, but it never happens that way. My question is that I thought like every year up here in bremerton,wa they played the top 1000 and the last song of the 1000 would be played on new years eve night? They quit doing it for a few years and have now started up again. When everyone went alternative or hip hop they stuck to their guns. I'd use the frown smilie, but I wouldn't want to wig out everyone on the links.
Their interest in radio has continued throughout the years and this is the result of their collaboration. That's cool Bob stood up for what he beleived in. They were great in the mornings. She's a vision from coast to coast. Cheese ballads made the list?!? Either way, both were well represented on the list.
Go to to check out past year's lists. Hell, I voted it for 1! Sure, let's all just jump on the bandwagon and become fair-weather solo Sammy fans. Or so they try too at least. And I think the fact that their morning show now consists of 4 hours of idiotic bullshit with no music at all, threw off their timing even more, which is why they had to start the countdown on Wednesday. Hope it's soon though, so I can stop waking up in a bad mood. It is one of the last great radio stations left today. But they play very little Van Hagar.
My Brett wife suffers from this extremely painful and debilitating nerve disorder that doctors are just now learning more about and realizing the severity. We were started by three Alumni of the Kentucky School for the Blind, Angie Mike and Matt. Bob Rivers made it pretty obvious on the air a couple times that he and the station's general manager didn't get along very well. And even those three maybe get played once a month. I have no idea why they didn't put any solo Dave on the top 1000, since it is supposedly all listener votes, and I know damn well that I put Slam Dunk in there.
Don't disturb my paradise, i've asked you once, I asked you nice. Sammy was their first show, in 77 or 78. If you don't know what this horrible disease is, please click to learn more. Too bad I was only 12 at the time. . . .
